Big jewelry or very little, the dress and hair are the important parts of the 2012 prom fashions. Beaded straps, one shoulder prom dresses, and classic designer looks that accent the face and form are big for prom this year. Prom shops are showing prom dresses that require maturity and poise to carry off.
Empire lines, or dresses with flowing skirts and high waists are fashionable for prom if the shoulders and sleeves are almost nonexistent.
